यह पत्र आपके लिए अच्छा भी हो सकता है और बुरा भी | लेकिन कुछ लोगो के लिए तो बहुत बुरा लगने वाला होगा | क्या है की आज कल रोज खबर आ रही है की सूखा है, लोगो के पास पिने के लिए पानी नहीं है, पशु पक्षी पानी के बिना मर रहे है | खबर तो यहां तक है की पानी की कमी, आपस मे लड़ाई की वजह बनने से 8 लोगो की जान चली गयी | सरकार पानी के लिए रेल भेज रही है गॉवो मे | कई सामाजिक संगठन पानी बचाने की मुहीम चला कर बैठे है | सुनने और देखने मे तो यहाँ तक आ रहा है की कुछ औरतों की मज़बूरी इस कदर है की उनको pregnancy मे भी 8-10 KM दूर तक पैदल चल कर पानी लेने जाना पड़ रहा है | कोर्ट ने IPL मैच कैंसिल कर दिए है | इससे ज्यादा पानी के बारे मे मीडिया और हम लोग क्या बात करेंगे |

अब बात करते है उन गिने चुने गधे के बच्चो की (माफ़ करना अगर आप इस श्रेणी मे आते है और उम्मीद करते है की आप न आये और दूसरों को भी न आने दे )| इन सब बातो को जानने के बाद रोज अखबार पूरा चाटने के बाद, बहुत सारे न्यूज़ चैनल देखने के बाद और समाज मे अच्छी अच्छी बातो पर भासण देने की बाद अपने घर मे इस कदर पानी का दुरूपयोग करने वाले लोगो को तो गधे के बच्चे ही कहा जायेगा | माफ़ करना, गधे का बच्चा बोलना symbolic है कहा जाता है गधे बहुत सीधे साधे होते है उस नाते तो गधे बोलना उन लोगो की तारीफ़ करना ही होगा लेकिन अभी के लिए इन लोगो को जो पानी का मूल्य नहीं समझते गधे के बच्चे ही बोले लेते है | ये वो लोग है जो सामजिक होने का दावा करते है, अच्छी अच्छी बाते करके अपने नेतागिरी का बखान करते है, लोगो के बिच मे अपनी साख रखते है घर एवं आस पड़ोस मे खूब ज्ञान बांटते है लेकिन होते तो गधे के बच्चे ही है क्योकि ज्ञान बांटने के बाद - घर पर वही ढाक के तीन पात | घर पर गन्दी गाडी को पानी की अमृत धरा से ऐसे धोते है जैसे गाडी लोहे का डिब्बा नहीं एक जीवन है जो की इंसानो से ज्यादा कीमती है | घर का गार्डन और उसके पौधे सबसे कीमती है उन पर जरुरत से ज्यादा पानी बहाते है | घर के पौधे तो छोड़ो सड़क पर जब तक आ कर नल से पानी की धरा नहीं बहा देने इन गधे के बच्चों को नींद नहीं आती | अगर फिर भी पानी को बर्बाद कर के मन नहीं मानता तो फिर अपने घर की छत को पानी की बाल्टी से छत को नहाना नहीं भूलते | अब इनको आपको गधे के बच्चे बोलो या कुछ और लेकिन पानी की बर्बादी करने वाले लोग कम से कम सामाजिक प्राणी तो नहीं हो सकते | वो इन्सान ही क्या जो दूसरों की परशानी नहीं समझ सकता , अजी छोड़ो आप पानी की बर्बादी वाले लोगो को कुछ भी बोलो हम तो इनको या इस तरह के लोगो की लिए नया नाम निकल रहे है एवं वो है चून्दू | इस पत्र को आज हम इस देश के सभी लोगो तक पहुंचाना चाहते है |

अगर आपको भी आपके घर के आस पास कोई चून्दू नज़र आ जाये तो ये प्यार भरा पत्र जरूर पड़ा देना या फिर उनको unknown नाम से एक मेल कर दे, या courier कर दे लेकिन हमको हर एक चून्दू आदमी तक इस पत्र को पहुंचना है | अगर आप चून्दू नहीं है तो जरुरु इस पत्र को शेयर करेंगे | अगर चंदू है तो शर्म की वजस से हिम्मत नहीं होगी या फिर पानी का दुरूपयोग करना बंद करके इन्सान बन कर पत्र शेयर कर देना | ये पत्र आपकी अपने लिए है इसमें किसी और को कोई फायदा नहीं होगा |

Dear Arvind,

I am writing this open letter to you, since both of us have worked together in the RTI movement and have insisted on transparency in all public matters. There are some concerns about your working which I want to bring to your attention. Since a precedent has been set by the Maharashtra CM Fadnavis, you may consider responding to a Aam Aadmi.

I am sure you have taken a lot of good steps to better the lives of people in Delhi. I have noticed the fact that among other things you have focused on education, health and some other important sectors. You must have taken many more notable actions. You surely understand that all politicians serve people in some manner. There are some worrying indicators which together make many wary of your future course. I am taking the liberty of listing a few, in the hope that you may consider restoring your party to its pristine promise.

You have been one of the champions of transparency and RTI and your national recognition came because of this. However Delhi government does not appear to have improved on the transparency score nor adherence to RTI. I checked with some RTI activists in Delhi, CIC and even some strong supporters of yours. All of them say that there is no significant improvement in sou moto disclosure under Section 4, or even the responses being given to RTI applications. Your supporters said you will take this up later. A small suggestion in this regard: Consider making the working of your government completely digital in the next one year and put up all files on the internet each day, save what is exempt.

Lokpal is another area which has been of concern to people of the nation. Your all India presence and recognition was based on your work in vociferously insisting on a Lokpal bill being passed by Parliament as per the draft suggested by you without any changes. You resigned as Chief Minister claiming that since you could not pass the Lokpal bill you would not continue. You were given an unprecedented majority in Delhi, but a full nine months later there is no sign of the Lokpal bill being passed. In April 2015 you tweeted“Started working on Jan Lokpal Bill”. Earlier you had given the impression that you knew the ideal draft for it. It appears that your enthusiasm for a Lokpal has waned after your party’s Lokpal was not pliant enough and was dumped unceremoniously.

Many of your senior colleagues have left you, or been expelled. The list includes Prashant Bhushan , Yogendra Yadav, Medha Patkar , Shazia Ilmi, Madhu Bahduri. Some of them like Prashant had worked with you for over a decade. Amongst the five member team which was to present the nation’s voice at the Lokpal bill negotiation team with five ministers, only you remain in solitary splendor. Two out of your four MPs of Punjab have been thrown out, and Mr. Phoolka has resigned from all party posts. . Your implied argument appears to be that they were not serving the interests of the nation. You appear to believe that ‘Arvind is Aap, and Aap is India’. All these people have a long record of public service and integrity. You were a great champion of the right to dissent and transparency. It appears that you ensured the exit of those who dissented, or questioned the ethical and moral dimensions of some of your actions. At the very least be transparent about your meetings and the reasons for your decisions.

You represented the hope which looked forward to the ideal of India becoming a more honest, ethical nation. The hope that Indian politics would be based on principles, and true democracy with accountability will prevail; dissent and transparency would be our paths for a true participatory democracy. I did visit and speak at your rallies at Jantar Mantar and Ram Lila ground while I was an Information Commissioner and saw in those large numbers of persons the hope and dream of a resurgent India which would result in a nation they would be proud of. It was magical, like a pumpkin transforming into a royal carriage. The widespread support you got from media and people was because of this. It appears now that the clock may strike 12 and the magic may disappear. This has happened before in 1977 and the hopes and faith of the people were betrayed. You have now castigated anyone who does not agree with you, including the media. Media backed and made you a national figure when you appeared to represent the dream of a better India. With the path you are now following, you may build a large successful party, and reach the highest level. But you will be like any other politician and political party. The descent from idealism can be very rapid. Please do not dash the hopes for idealism and a honest India. It may take decades before someone else will be able to persuade citizens that a political party will work with principles and idealism with the nation as its primary concern. True democracy is built with ethics and systems, not by great leaders.

प्रिय अमित शाह जी

कल आपके दिल्ली प्रदेश के अध्यक्ष श्री सतीश उपाध्याय जी ने मुझे स्वेच्छा पूर्वक ईमानदार होने का सर्टिफिकेट बाँटने की कृपा की. आज आपके ही पार्टी द्वारा घोषित ये ईमानदार आपसे कुछ सवाल पूछना चाहता है. आशा है इन सवालो के बाद आप कल ही आपकी पार्टी द्वारा जारी किया हुआ सर्टिफिकेट वापस नहीं ले लेंगे.
सवाल ये है कि :

जिस भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में आप और आपके नेता मोदी जी की भक्त सेना कल से ऐसे कूद रही है जैसे अंधे के हाथ बटेर लग गयी हो, उस भक्त सेना को उस दिन क्यों सांप सूंघ गया था जिस दिन मैंने भ्रष्टाचार के इस मामले में अपनी संस्तुति भेजी थी। अच्छा लगता अगर भाजपा ने भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ आम आदमी पार्टी द्वारा की जा रहे लगातार प्रयासों का कभी एक बार भी समर्थन किया होता।
क्या आप सच में समझ नहीं पाये कि भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ मेरे द्वारा दी गयी संस्तुति दिल्ली सरकार में दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के चेयरमैन और जल मंत्री तौर पर थी और दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के चेयरमैन तथा जल मंत्री के रूप में आज मैं और भी ज्यादा शक्ति के साथ कार्य कर रहा हूँ.
भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ कार्यवाही के सन्दर्भ में आपका अति उत्साह देखकर यह पूछने का मन है कि क्या कभी आपने यह जानने का प्रयास किया कि आखिर क्यों दिल्ली की ACB जो तेजी से भ्रष्टाचारियों को गिरफ्तार कर रही थी उसको निष्क्रिय करने का प्रयास माननीय मोदी जी द्वारा लगातार किया जा रहा है.
यह भी कहना चाहता हूँ कि लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले माननीय मोदी जी ने UPA के घोटालो के खिलाफ बड़े लम्बे चौड़े भाषण दिए थे लेकिन ऐसा लगता है कि सरकार बनते ही मोदी जी भी कपिल सिब्बल की zero loss theory पर भरोसा कर बैठे।
दिल्ली और पूरे देश में मोदी जी की सरकार के द्वारा भ्रष्टाचार और काले धन पर आपराधिक चुप्पी पर कभी आप और आपकी भक्त सेना अपना मुंह खोलंगे तो आपके द्वारा घोषित इस ईमानदार को अच्छा लगेगा।
दिल्ली में DDA हो या दिल्ली पुलिस या नगर निगम, इन सभी जगहों पर बैठे भ्रष्टाचारी खुश है कि नरेंद्र मोदी जी के राज में कोई उन पर हाथ भी नहीं लगा सकता। आज भाजपा जहाँ एक ओर बिहार में अपराधियों की शरण में है और खुल कर सामान्य बिहारी नागरिक के स्वाभिमान पर चोट कर रही है वहीँ पंजाब में ड्रग माफिया आप और आपकी पार्टी के नेताओं की छत्र छाया में फल फूल रहा है. कश्मीर में आप अलगाववादियों को कंधे में बिठा कर भारत माता का अपमान कर रहे रहे है और वहीँ देश भर के किसानो और आदिवासियों से जल, जंगल और जमीन छीनने के लिए लगातार आपकी सरकार रोज नया कुचक्र रचती है.

उम्मीद करता हूँ कि जैसे दिल्ली के एक खास मामले में आप और आपके द्वारा बनायीं भक्त सेना ने अपनी जिज्ञासा व्यक्त की है उसी प्रकार इन सभी मुद्दो पर भी अपना मुंह खोलने का कष्ट करेंगे। खासतौर पर मोदी जी की कैबिनेट में बैठे 20 दागी मंत्री जिनमे से 11 पर तो गंभीर आपराधिक मामले भी है , उन पर अगर आप और आपके सिपहसालार कुछ कहे तो अच्छा लगेगा।

और अंत में आपको एक बात बताना चाहता हूँ, पिछले लगभग दस सालो से मैं भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ रहा हूँ और मैं और मेरे जैसे सभी युवा जो इस देश में एक ईमानदार व्यवस्था लागू करना चाहते है, हम सभी अगर किसी एक व्यक्ति से प्रेरणा पाते है तो उस व्यक्ति का नाम है अरविन्द केजरीवाल।

भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ना और उसे मिटा कर ही दम लेना यह हमने उन्ही से सीखा है. आपके द्वारा ईमानदारी का जो सर्टिफिकेट कल बांटा गया वो कार्य अरविन्द जी की प्रेरणा और मार्गदर्शन से ही कर रहा हूँ. आशा है दिल्ली को भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त बनाने में आप रुकावट बनना बंद करेंगे।

Open Letter to Hardik Patel from One student

Dear 22 year old, Hardik Patel,

I, another 22 year old fellow Gujarati, am writing this letter to discuss what has happened in Gujarat in last few days. You, me and all fellow countrymen are aware about the peaceful protest that you have been leading since last few days. To be honest, I didn’t know you until 25th August 2015. The movement of Patidar community asking for reservation is going on in Gujarat since a month, but I heard your name for the first time on 25th August, when you lead the Maha Rally in Ahmedabad. And I believe there are lacs of Gujaratis like me who heard about you on the very same day. We thought the entire movement was being executed voluntarily by all the Patidar fellows, but the rally got a face on 25th August (at least as we fellow Gujaratis know it). I noticed couple of things when you addressed the rally in Ahmedabad. Listing down some of the points here.

1. Firstly, you were gathered to ask for reservation for Patidar community from Gujarat government. Both the community and government would have understood you, if you have addressed them in Gujarati language. Gujarati language would have left a good impact too. But you started with Hindi and completed your entire one and a half hour speech in Hindi. Which took us by shock. Your audience were Gujarati, then why did you choose Hindi? Were you trying to address other states ?

2. Secondly, Patidars were gathered in the rally to ask and talk about reservation. You talked about reservation for like ten minutes. Your rest of the speech was to defame Gujarat government and our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. You were clearly trying to impose your political views on fellow Gujaratis.

3. Thirdly, we all noticed the tone of your speech. “Ham log pure Hindustan ko apni Aukaat dikha denge!” Who are you? Al Queda leader? Aren’t you a fellow Hindustani too? How can you use such a dreadful tone while addressing the rally of lacs of people?

4. Fourthly, the most annoying thing about you was your arrogance. You challenged Chief Minister Anandiben Patel to come to you and accept your application? Who are you to order a Chief Minister?

5. Fifthly, you clearly provoked the rally towards violence. “Agar hamari mange nahi sweekari to lanka jala denge!” When you are leading a peaceful protest, you don’t make statements which can provoke people to incline towards violence. But you clearly did that.

With these five points, I cleared my perspective about you from what I observed in your first speech in Maha rally. Now I will try to enlighten you with the knowledge I gained in last two days. Please have a look at my detailed observation on various points related to your peaceful protest.

Is reservation really possible?

First and foremost, according to the Supreme Court of India, reservation can only be given to the population less than 50% of total population of a particular state. Which means maximum 50% of citizens of a particular state can get the benefits of reservation.

27% of the total population of Gujarat comes under OBC (Other backward class) and 22% of the total population of the state comes under SC/ ST (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes). Which means 49% of total population of Gujarat already comes under reservation, which cannot exceed according to the judgement from the Supreme Court of India. So technically, more reservation is not possible.

Do you really need reservation?

Firstly, I would like to translate Patidar. Patidar is a Gujarati word for landowner. And as the name suggests, Patidar is one of the wealthiest castes across Gujarat. Patels dominates all industries in Gujarat taking from diamonds to real estates to textiles. Majority of diamond polishing industries of Surat are owned by Patels. Maximum Indian immigrants in USA belong to Patel community. Patels dominate motel industries in USA.

When I witnessed first rally asking for Anamat in Surat, I saw people joining the rally in their Mercedes cars. Can you imagine a guy coming in a Mercedes to ask for the stamp of backward class?

Indigestible. Isn’t it?
