Kejriwal in open letter to PM

Spare time for Delhi or give us police control

In an open letter published as an advertisement in major dailies, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take steps to improve Delhi’s deteriorating law and order situation or hand over police to the city government, drawing a sharp response from the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Letter says -
“I have a small, humble request. Either you spare at least one hour a week to Delhi’s law and order situation, fix accountability for the Delhi police and interact with the people of Delhi -- or give us the control of Delhi police. With the help of people, we will improve functioning of Delhi police,” said Kejriwal.
